All the Students of Nursing will be residents of the hostel.

The residents are permitted to be away from the hostel only during annual leave during any other authorized leave.

One Night-Out pass, one Late Pass and two Day—out passes per month are issued to the students on written consent of the parent or guardian on the specified forms. In addition ,two weekly passes [for 2 hrs .] valid only for Wednesdays and Saturday are issued out on request When you go out of the Hostel appropriate entries must be made in the register kept, for the purpose. You cannot leave the hostel premises without prior sanction of the warden. The Night - out and late pass privileges may be withdrawn at the discretion of the Principal or teachers ,if your performance in academic and hospital work is Unsatisfactory .The Late Pass is permitted up to 10.pm only .The Night- out Pass is only if the next day is a holiday.

Prior sanction from the hostel warden is required for a late pass, Night - out Pass, and Day - out passes.

You are not allowed to bring visitors in the nurse's quarters. Visitors must be Entertained in the visitors room during any of the week between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m_ only.

The rooms should be kept tidy at all times. All furniture should be in place. Beds should be conversed with a counterpane when not in use .The fans and Lights should be turned off when not required. Use of electrical gadgets, ironing And cooking is not permitted in the rooms. The Director of Nursing Administration, Principal, Warden or any Teaching staff have the right to inspect any room at any time. candidates admitted to the course Have to be residents of the hostel provided and have to maintain high standards of moral conduct.

The first three months of the programmed is know as the preliminary Training Service [PTS]. On successful completion of the Preliminary Training Service [PTS] examination, you will be confirmed as a student.

The food served in the hostel is vegetarian.

You will be responsible to Principal and the faculty throughout the period of Education during the working hours and the warden during non-working hours. When free from your assignments, you are not allowed to enter the hospital Wards or departments without previous permission from the Principal, teachers or warden.
